This class is for anyone looking to up their handle making game, and/or those of you who currently HATE handles and want to find a new process that’s interesting and enjoyable.  Of course we’ll talk about different techniques for pulling handles that can give you diverse and unique results, but there are so many more methods to explore!  Using coils, slabs, pinching, thrown elements, and sculpting handles will all be shown.  Constructing handles from multiple pieces, knobs and other non-traditional grips, and using decorative bits and attachments will also be covered.  We’ll be creating pots for our handles throughout the class, discussing considerations for which handles go best with which types of forms, and where/how to attach them for ideal visual and functional weight.
