The flat bottom of this pottery tool allows you to steady it against your bat while the small cutouts at the ends create a rounded foot at the base of your clay vessel while it's still spinning the wheel.
Foot 8 features a simple curve that leads into the footing tool on one end and a taller straight edge with a footing tool on the other end. Our foot tools also make great ribs as you can use any side of them to help pull, smooth, and shape your clay.
