Based off of the very popular KYM Ice Man clay body, Dark Star is easy to throw and handbuild with and is very forgiving, smooth, and plastic. WE RECOMMEND SLOW FIRING SPEEDS IN BOTH BISQUE AND GLAZE WHEN USING ANY CLAY BODY THAT CONTAINS MANGANESE SPECKS DUE TO OFF GASSING. This allows the gasses time to escape properly from the ware. If fired past cone 6, you may experience bloating.
