This is the same claybody as Iceman, but with 6% added grog for increased tooth. More forgiving than standard Iceman, it is a fan-favorite for larger throwing projects and hand building. Also for potters who just like a little more "structure" or texture to their throwing clays. Fires to a very light grey/off-white. Glazes love Iceman. Excellent color response and good glaze fit with the vast majority of KY Mudworks glazes and many other commercial glaze brands. Occasional tiny iron specking can happen due to the nature of it being a stoneware clay. Matures cone 6, but will have acceptable performance as low as cone 5. Can be pushed to cone 7 slow fired.
