Tony Beaver is KYM’s ultimate all-rounder claybody. A very plastic, bright-buff color clay body that practically throws itself! Coarse fireclay and added grog give it just enough tooth to be forgiving for any throwing project from cups to large jars. Performs very well for hand building projects as well. Glazes really pop on this buff clay. It has a much brighter color response than our higher iron clays but more warmth than our white stonewares. Contains 3% grog. Perfect forgiving classroom clay for wheel and hand building. Fire to cone 5-7. Can be pushed to cone 7 if slow fired through last 300F.
