This class is all about Soda Firing.  Bring your Cone ten bisque ware and we will talk through considerations for glazing, slipping, and wadding your pots.  The class will work as a team to load, fire, and clean up the kiln twice during this eight week session.  Soda will be introduced via spraying and through the Nichols method (burritos) in two separate firings.  If you’re curious about this stuff or not quite sure what that means, this is the class for you.  *Class fee includes all materials required for firing in the soda kiln, including fuel, slips, glazes, etc.  Yearly Class members must pay lab fee of $80.*
