Regular flower vases are meant to hold water and support flower stems. We want to create vases that add to the sculptural potential of flowers, plants, and several other additives found in the natural world. In this class we will explore those sculptural forms and learn how to use leaves, rocks, bamboo, and other materials to aid in the flower arranging process. Wheel work is the focus but band building will play a large part in this class.
