Ben will work with students on using texture and mark making to improve glaze surfaces and technique. Glazing is hard! Sometimes we can break up the surface with texture, brush strokes, contrasting colors, and raw clay to make finishing your pots a little more fun. Sodium Silicate, slip, engobes, oxide washes, mark making tools, chatter tools, and resists will all be covered.
