Meet resident artist Madison Carson as she guides you through her techniques for creating large coil pots.  Start off with some research on historical vessels…think ancient Greek amphoras, Minoan pottery, etc…  Once you’ve got some inspiration from these classic shapes you will plan out and work on building your pots over the class session.  Decorative designs for your vessels, utilizing techniques such as sgraffito and Mishima, will also be explored.  Intro to handbuilding or similar experience required for this class.
