Chartreuse Liquid Underglaze is a lime green color that is bright at cone 05, becomes slightly darker and fluxes into a soft glaze-like surface at cone 6, and softens to a mint green with a soft sheen at to cone 10.
Though the underglaze does become glaze-like, a clear gloss glaze can give Chartreuse an impeccably smooth surface with good color.
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
