Light Brown Liquid Underglaze is a light chestnut color that is warm and light at cone 05, becomes a warm tawny color and fluxes into a soft glaze-like surface at cone 6, and maintains this warm tan tone with a soft sheen all the way to cone 10.
Though the underglaze does become glaze-like, a clear gloss glaze can give Light Brown an impeccably smooth surface with good color.
Safety Warning: Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
