Classes

Upcoming Class Session:  May 4-July 5, 8 Weeks

We have some weirdness in the schedule next session, so pay attention to these dates:

May 25, Memorial Day- Studio closed and no classes.  Make-up June 22nd, which is an off week.  

June 23-28, No Classes-  There will be a break week right BEFORE glaze week due to a giant workshop, so no classes.  We'll reconvene for glaze week June 29-July 5. 

July 4, Independence Day- Studio closed, no classes.  Saturday students will meet on Sunday, July 5 to glaze, OR may glaze with any other intermediate level class earlier in the week.  

Classes are typically posted 2-3 weeks after the current session starts.  There is no specific date for registration to open.  Follow us on Instagram for notifications.

 

Class Level Key:

-INTRO: new to clay or limited experience.

-INTERMEDIATE: understand the basic steps used to form the clay and can make basic shapes.  looking to strengthen techniques, get comfortable making most forms, and improve your craft.

-ADVANCED: comfortable with basic techniques and can make intended forms easily.  ready to learn new techniques to advance your forms and develop a personal style.

 

 

 

Classes include:

-Instruction during your class time.

-Studio practice time during business hours throughout your class session.

-A storage shelf for your work and supplies.

-Firing allotment for pieces made for class.

Clay & tools are NOT included unless stated in the class description. Most intro classes do include clay and basic tools to help you get started.
