Bright Yellow Liquid Underglaze is a lemon yellow that is soft and bright at cone 05, becomes a bright maize color and fluxes into a soft glaze-like surface at cone 6, and lightens slightly while maintaining a soft sheen at cone 10.
Though the underglaze does become glaze-like, a clear gloss glaze can give Bright Yellow an impeccably smooth surface with good color.
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
